My relics are spotless. Pristine. Tight. Thick. Juicy...woah got a little carried away there.
Victor is a key player in the operation of Crawler. The relics he sells are the primary ingredients of every successful dungeon run.
Shop appears at the beginning of every floor. It is the most reliable source of relics in the game.
Victor stocks 3 relics per floor. Relics are selected primarily based on their rarity, with the average rarity of stocked relics increasing with distance, but the chance of stocking a relic also decreases with the number of that relic that you already possess. E.g. if you already have 9 of a particular common relic, finding the 10th in the shop will be far less likely than the 1st. Note that this does not affect Epic and above relics as you can't hold more than one of each.
Relic prices increase with rarity, and vary by up to 15% up or down from a base price associated with each relic. There is a moderate chance that Victor will select a relic to discount by 33% from the price he wanted to set (he's just a sweetie.) Discounted relics are marked with a sale tag.
Victor will restock the store once with 3 new relics for a small fee. The fee increases with distance reached.
Relics can be sold by dragging them into the shop. The amount Victor will pay ranges from 70% of the base price for Common relics, down to 30% for Legendary relics.
Rarity | Payback |
---|---|
Common | 70% |
Uncommon | 60% |
Rare | 50% |
Epic | 40% |
Legendary | 30% |
